Counseling/Therapy in Moreno Valley, Riverside, & Colton

I am an experienced therapist in Moreno Valley, Riverside, & Colton.   My area of expertise is with working with couples, and individuals treating anxiety, depression, and grief/loss in addition to being a Trauma Therapist/EMDR Clinician.

I like to re-inspire people and to assist good people to clear out the pain that has occurred in their lives.   As a graduate from Chapman University.  I have dedicated my professional career to succinctly identify the challenges that people are facing that makes them to  make that call to get counseling started.   As a professional therapist, I am also sensitive to the needs of people from different religious and spiritual beliefs.   I am very supportive with Christian counseling.

Finding an excellent therapist is similar (but not quite) to finding an excellent mechanic, teacher, accountant, partner, or physician.  I will always strive to never waste your time as a client.

I have worked with children and adolescents since 1999 and can assist parents with academic challenges and parenting skills.  For several years, I have collaborated and been involved with hundreds of IEPs with several school districts and S.E.L.P.A.'s  and am experienced with Special Education services and laws since 2002.

A graduate from Chapman University in 2000 (BA) & 2003 (MA), I have successfully worked with over a thousand clients and over 150 clients (from 10 years old through 74) with extreme traumatic experiences with profound success through the use of EMDR Therapy.  My experience with most clients who used EMDR in my office reported an original "Subjective Units of DIstress" (SUD) of 9 or 10 (unbearable/overwhelmed) , reported a SUD scale of zero (peace/total relief) at the end of therapy which is usually completed within 1-2 months.  "The SUD scale is a scale of 0 to 10 for measuring the subjective intensity of disturbance or distress currently experienced by an individual. The individual self assesses where they are on the scale." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subjective_units_of_distress_scal
